In one sentence: your notes are stored in your own Gmail account — we don't keep them on our servers, we don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties.
Your Privacy Matters
NoteBip was built around one simple idea: your notes belong to you.
Your notes are stored in your Gmail account.
- We do not store your notes on our servers.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your notes for advertising.
- We do not share your notes with third parties.
You remain in control of your content at all times.
What We Store
Nothing.
Your notes remain in your Gmail account.
Connecting Your Gmail Account
To use NoteBip, you connect your Gmail account to the app. Your notes are saved directly in your own Gmail — and that's it. You can disconnect NoteBip's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
Because your notes are stored in your own Gmail account, the only third party involved in storing your notes is Google. Your use of Google services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Data Security and Protection
NoteBip uses technical and organizational safeguards to protect Google user data.
- Communication between the NoteBip Android application and Google services is transmitted through encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections using Google's official APIs.
- Google account authorization is handled through Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization process. NoteBip does not receive, collect, or store your Google account password.
- NoteBip does not operate a developer-controlled backend server for storing or processing Gmail Notes. Your notes remain in your own Gmail account.
- Data stored locally by the application is protected by Android's application sandbox and the security controls provided by your device and operating system.
- Access to Google user data is limited to the functions requested by the user, including viewing, creating, editing, organizing, synchronizing, and deleting Gmail Notes.
- Google user data is not sold, shared with advertisers or data brokers, or transferred to third-party AI or machine-learning services.
You can revoke NoteBip's access at any time from your Google Account permissions. You can also remove locally stored application data by removing the account from NoteBip, clearing the application's data, or uninstalling the application.
Can I Leave NoteBip?
Yes.
Because your notes are stored in your own Gmail account, you are never locked into NoteBip. Your data remains yours.
Children's Privacy
NoteBip is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). As described above, we do not collect personal information from any user.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of NoteBip after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
